Grilled Pheasant with Broccoli and Chilli Dressing - Fast Diet

This recipe is featured in The Fast Diet Recipe Book, by Mimi Spencer & Dr Michael Mosley

1 skinless Pheasant breast

100g Brocoli florets

1 tsp chopped peanuts

2tbsp fish sauce

pInch dried chlli flakes

1 clove garlic chopped

1 thumb fresh ginger Finely grated

Pinch sugar

Juice of 1 lime

Splash soy sauce

2 tbsp water

Little chopped coriander

Mix the all the ingredients together except the pheasant, chopped peanuts and the broccoli, marinate the pheasant breast in half the chilli sauce mixture and set aside for up to 6 hours. Steam the broccoli and grill the pheasant  for approx 8 minutes.  Once cooked slice the pheasant thinly and arrange on a plate with the broccoli and drizzle over the rest of the sauce. Add the chopped peanuts and serve.

(cooking time will depend on the size of the pheasant)

The recipe with also work well with chicken, Guinea Fowl etc
